Just in case anyone was wondering, Star Magazine has a very similar story compared to the National Enquirer, about Tiger Woods cheating on his wife with this New York events planner Rachel Uchitel story, about how she allegedly had an affair with Bones star David Boreanaz when David’s wife Jaime was pregnant.
The original story had “sources” who claimed that David and Rachel were seeing each other this past Spring, into the summer, and that Rachel was the one to break it off when David called her as his wife was giving birth. Creepy, yes? Star is now claiming that Jaime knows about the affair David had with Rachel, and that Jaime was considering divorce but she’s decided to forgive him:

"David Boreanaz’s Playboy Playmate wife, Jaime Bergman, is giving him a second chance. The couple’s eight-year union has been on very thin ice since Star exclusively revealed that the Bones hunk, 40 - who insiders describe as a rampant flirt - cheated with NYC event planner Rachel Uchitel, 34, while Jaime was pregnant.

“David learned Jaime was going to call a lawyer about him, and he freaked out,” says a source. “He begged her for forgiveness and said he loved her and would never stray again.”

Jaime, 34, who delivered the pair’s second child in late August, had furiously kicked David out of their home when he came clean about the affair. So why so quick to reconcile?

“While Jaime isn’t sure she’ll ever be able to trust him again,” says a source, “her concern for their kids is foremost in her mind.”

Minaret Ban In Switzerland Set For A Vote



The campaign posters are inflammatory: Minarets rising like missiles from the national flag.

A proposal championed by right-wing parties to ban minarets in Switzerland goes to a nationwide vote on Sunday in a referendum that has set off an emotional debate about national identity and stirred fears of boycotts and violent reactions from Muslim countries.

With tensions running high, the Geneva Mosque was vandalized Thursday by unidentified individuals who threw a pot of pink paint at the building's entrance.

It was the third incident against the mosque this month: earlier, a vehicle with a loudspeaker drove through the area imitating a muezzin's call to prayer, and vandals threw cobble stones at the building, damaging a mosaic.

Business leaders say a minaret ban would be disastrous for the Swiss economy because it could drive away wealthy Muslims who bank in Switzerland, buy the country's luxury goods, and frequent its resorts.

The vote taps into anxieties about Muslims that have been rippling through Europe in recent years, ranging from French fears of women in body veils to Dutch alarm over the murder by a Muslim fanatic of a filmmaker who made a documentary that criticized Islam.

Polls indicate growing support for the proposal submitted by the anti-immigrant Swiss People's Party, but it was doubtful it will gain enough momentum to pass. Muslims in Switzerland have kept a low profile, refraining from a counter-campaign.

"Switzerland's good reputation as an open, tolerant and secure country may be lost and this would bring a blow to tourism," said Swiss Hotel Association spokesman Thomas Allemann.

Justice Department Says Acorn Can Be Paid for Pre-Ban Contracts

The Justice Department has concluded that the Obama administration can lawfully pay the community group Acorn for services provided under contracts signed before Congress banned the government from providing money to the group.

The department’s conclusion, laid out in a recently disclosed five-page memorandum from David Barron, the acting assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel, adds a new wrinkle to a sharp political debate over the antipoverty group’s activities and recent efforts to distance the government from it.

Temperatures might be plummeting in New York but Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise ventured out last night without wrapping up against the elements.

The actress dressed in a sheer white T-shirt and short off-white blazer with unflattering baggy shorts, opaque tights and ankle boots.

Her three-year-old daughter had on a warm blanket coat over her short-sleeved pretty pink dress but had bare legs and gold sandals on.

Susan Boyle breaks down in tears on U.S. tour



Just moments after finishing a note-perfect performance on live American television, Susan Boyle was seen on television breaking down in tears.

The 48-year-old had been enjoying lunch with fans at the Rock Centre cafe in New York's Rockefeller Centre.
But she appeared increasingly withdrawn and started to tremble and suck her thumb. Then, visibly overcome with emotion, she bowed her head and began to sob.

Hugh Laurie caused a stir among fellow diners at the Ivy in London this week when he arrived sporting the painful looking bruise.

His injury is thought to have been caused by a right hook from a gym sparring partner back in LA.

But Laurie refused to confirm that yesterday. When asked to offer an alternative explanation, he told the Mail:

'I walked into a door', adding: 'No, I mean I got hit by an owl'.

I saw the most luminous movie today: An Education. It's possibly the most honest and respectful portrayal of teenage coming-of-age that I've ever seen.

Remember that moment at which you learned that you could say "yes" instead of saying "no" to new experiences? That electrifying feeling of the world opening up in front of you? I don't think I've seen another movie that actually made me feel that again. Not just remember, but honestly have my heart thrill at the feeling of the experience. This movie captured that exquisitely.

I haven't been this utterly electrified by a movie in ages. This was a revelation.

And it's pretty, too!

David Hasselhoff Rushed To Hospital After Seizure

David Hasselhoff was rushed to a hospital by ambulance Friday after suffering a seizure, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Hasselhoff's neighbor Christian (he asked that we not use his last name), told RadarOnline.com that he saw the ambulance arrive at Hasselhoff's home. "I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he'd had a seizure." Unfortunately, said Christian, "this isn't the first time this has happened to him."

Hasselhoff, who has a long history of alcoholism, had been drinking in the past two days. Sources also tell RadarOnline.com that the former Baywatch star has been on anti-seizure medication.

He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after the seizure. A source on the scene said it was David’s daughter Hayley who called 911.

Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren -- according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.

Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.

Tiger WoodsWe're told Woods became "distracted," thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We're also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.

I've realized lately that my Downloads folder is getting a bit out of hand. I've got over 2 GB worth of custom content, and I figured that I needed a way to sort through it. I've got so much stuff that I don't really need, and I can't tell what most of it is because the only organization I've ever done is recently, I put some hacks in a folder, and all my default replacements are super-organized too. Other than that, everything's a total mess. I figured the easiest way would be to just delete my entire downloads folder (except for the hacks and default replacements) and start over.

My question is- can I just delete it, or should I go through and change all the custom clothes/makeup/hair/objects/etc. in my game to Maxis stuff, and then delete it? It would take forever, but this way I wouldn't get any accidental screw-ups, right? Or is it safe to just go delete right away (considering the fact that a lot of this stuff, I probably won't be redownloading)?

And also, what will I do about my sims who have custom skintones and eyes? Even if I replace things with Maxis stuff, they're still stuck with those. I'm on a Mac so I can't use SimPE to change it. Will the game just give them default skintones and eyes?

One last question- like I said, I sorted some of my hacks, but not all of them. One hack not in my hack folder is the one for having more than 8 sims in a household. If I delete this one, but then download it again and stick it back in the hacks folder, it shouldn't matter as long as I don't play the game in between, right?

Thanks in advance for helping, I know I've got a lot of questions. I looked through the tags but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Ewan McGregor is holding up the sequel to the movie that made him famous, because film bosses don't want to go ahead without his participation.

Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle is reportedly reteaming with author Irvine Welsh to take the writer's novel Porno to the big screen - 13 years after Trainspotting made the moviemaker and McGregor household names.

McGregor snubbed the picture earlier this year, insisting he didn't want to be part of a "poor sequel", and, as a result filming, has stalled.

And that has annoyed Andrew Lowry, who played Begbie in the 1996 movie - because he's keen to resurrect his character.

He says, "I've always said that I'd do it. Apart from long-running television, I've never played another character twice, but, with Begbie, there's mileage there, with this character there's another place to go. It can confirm what I was trying to do originally with the part, so I would certainly go again.

"It's entirely up to Ewan, but I think it's sad. I think there's more mileage not just in that character, but in the ensemble. And, to have that as a companion piece 12 or 15 years later from that (Trainspotting), it'd be an amazing thing, seeing these characters."
