Oh, journal, it's been a long, lonely summer hasn't it? Well...for you anyways. I was too busy to be lonely. But now I'm back!

Last night, I went down to Old Town and got drunk at the Irish Festival they had. Oh it was so much fun. I walked around the whole night using an irish accent, dancing to the great music and drinking lots of beer! It was so much fun! Then, because I was probably drunk, I walked down Main Street and sang RENT songs the whole mile walk back to the car. Ahahaha it was so much fun, and people were cat calling. It was amazing.

I also finally saw Enchanted last night, and oh, how I loved it. It was beautiful. I loved spotting Pocahontas, Ariel and Belle in the film. But oy was I jealous. I want to be that happy! And the end with Nancy and Edward reminded me of a Disney commercial I saw years ago but haven't let go of. It was couple out at a restaurant eating dinner, when he tells her he has something for her. Watching her, you can tell she thinks it's an engagement ring and she's SO disappointed when he pulls out this big ol'box. He opens it up, and inside is a glass shoe. She looks at it and goes "You got me a shoe?" He takes it from the box, gets down on his knees, takes off her shoe and slips it on her foot. He smiles and says "It fits." She gets all emotional realizing what he did and turns to the table behind her and goes "He got me a shoe!" It was so adorable. Enchanted and that commercial made my heart ache from the tenderness of it all.

I'm at a new school and having tons of trouble because the school seems anti-communication. It SUCKS. Blrugh.

But, this too shall pass, and we shall see the Shire again, won't we?
